Friends Turtle Layout

Good morning Cricutlicious Friends,
Here is a project I created for the Simply Scrapping Crafts Cricut Challenge. Our challenge was to use some of the feature keys on our Cricut Machines.

Here is a view of the entire page. The DCWV background paper was perfect. It is from the DCWV Grade school stack. The little flies, frogs and stitching are all already on the paer and the little frogs are glittered.

Here is a close up of the little Turtle. I used the Create A Critter Cartridge to piece this turtle together. It is my own version of a turtle.

Here is a side shot of the turtle. You can see the glitter on the frog and on the shell of the turtle.

Now for today’s Freebie: To help Gaby celebrate National Teacher’s Day-Week. I came up with this super cute Digital Stamp of a little “bookworm in an apple. The digital stamp will be black and white for you to color in and will be with the A+ Teacher Sentiment and with no sentiment.

Card Recipe:

Finished card size: 5.5 x 5.5” – Bazzill Red(Kisses) Cardstock
Patterned Paper from the DCWV Grade School Stack
EK Success border punch, corner and circle punches
Cricut Expression
Lacey Labels
Misc. Yellow Ribbon

After coloring in the digi stamp I used a 3” circle punch to cut it out and then used my Cricut to cut out the red and yellow scalloped circles. Those came from the Lacey Labels Cartridge.

Here is a close up shot of the DCWV paper. I was trying to show how pretty it is. Some of the apples are pre-glittered for you and it is a nice heavier paper. Cardstock weight!!!
