Gathering My Family 4 Fun Layout.
I made this layout because we LOVE to have dessert. Honestly, quite a bit too much but my daughter loves to bake and we love to eat….so you get the picture…lol! I will put a picture of each of my children and hubby on this layout eating something deeeelish!!!

Close up of “pie” die cut from Block Party. I used some Distress stickles to give it that texture on the top. I didn’t want glittery but rather “sugary”. The Baker is also from the Block Party Cartridge. I did use my gypsy to “hide” her facial features.

These were from the Quick Quotes Club Q kit.

Design note: I ran this quote through my cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder to give it that little extra texture. The dots are raised and turned white!

I used my Cricut and some software to make this layout. The other thing we LOVE to do is watch movies. So we have “movie nights” pretty often.  This project is available as a kit from PaperCraftingWorld.com. You can go directly HERE to purchase it.

FCCB #21

Hello Everyone!

Happy, Happy Monday! I hope you're ready for a "FANTABULOUS" week!

Here is my project for this week's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!

Our assignment was to make something BBQ or Summertime Food Related.
So I made this super cute layout using the BLOCK PARTY Cartridge.
Pretty much all the die cuts on here came from that Cartridge.
Please be sure to stop by FCCB and check out all the other DT's Yummy Projects!
Here is a closeup of the title. Look at the tiny BBQ title on the bottle. It cut out really good in my "E" inspite of its TINY size!
Here is a closeup of the hotdog. Notice the ribbon border. I used that and "Frayed" it to give it a more "Country" type look.
Here is a closeup of the pie. It is on a chipboard strip. I painted it with two different colors and then distressed it. I wanted it to look like old, painted wood.
Here is an angled view to try and show you the chipboard frame. I painted a whole chunk of chipboard at once and then cut them into strips. I stapled the "planks" together with a colored staple. The picture just doesn' show how neat this element turned out.
Here is an angled view of the photo frame. I made it the same way as the tag holder frame above.
A lot of fun to make! As I said before, the Pie, Hamburger, Watermelon Slice, Title and Hotdog all came from the BLOCK Party Cartridge.
ALSO: Fantabulous Cricut is Sponsoring a MINI ALBUM CONTEST! Up for grabs is the Celebrations Cricut Cartridge!!! Way COOL! Go HERE to get the details and to enter!
Please check back later this evening. I will be posting again with my NEW giveaway and some great FREE stuff too :-)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a "Fantabulous" Day!
