Today I am back with my weekly Terrific TuesDIES post! Lucky #7! Here is what I came up with.
Here is my nod to the sweet ladybug and spring the joy of spring! I love how it turned out. It is a standard A2 Sized, top folding card. The base is white cardstock. I then added a hot pink mat and then a pretty patterned paper mat from the Doodlebug Spring Things Paper Pad. I then cut out a couple of the scallop stitched rectangle dies in white cardstock for some mats. I used some more of the delicious patterned paper from Doodlebug’s Easter Express Paper Pad for a mat.
I then went to work on my fun little ladybug. She is an exclusive die from Cheapo Dies. I cut her out of white cardstock 3 times. I then also cut her out of some pink cardstock and some more of the fun Doodlebug paper. I then layered the white pieces onto each other and then glued them to a solid piece of plain white cardstock. I then paper pieced the pink and patterned papers into the various spots. I finished her off by adding some stickles to her white outline. I just love how she turned out!
This shot shows you all the yummy dimension I gave the layers by using some foam tape. I also used the die from the fence and flower die set to cut it out of green cardstock for my grass on the bottom. I used some various Stickles to add a little dot of color to the centers of the little flowers.
Finally, for the sentiment, I used a sentiment from the RG Studio 360 collection. I printed it off and cut it out of one of my circle dies. I used this cute little clothespin clip to adhere the sentiment to my card. I topped that off with a little twine ribbon.
