Lovely Day Apple SVG & Die Cuts Card

Hello crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a fun card I created featuring one of the Apple Overlay cut files from the Apple Overlay set from PaperCraftingWorld.com.

Here’s a look at my completed card. It is a standard A2 size. I started with a base of black licorice cardstock. I then cut a mat from the Buttercream cardstock at 4 x 5.25. I cut the apple overlay cut file from my Cricut Explore from some Cranberry Bliss cardstock.

After I cut out the apple overlay inspiration struck as I realized the negative cuts of the overlay were the perfect little apple shape!!! I decided to use some of the negative cuts for my card and create a border of fun apples.

I cut a circle at 2.25” from some more Butter Cream cardstock and used one of the Journey Circle Dies that have the pierced dot border. I also decided to emboss the background mat. I used the new Love Letter Embossing Folder. I also used some Cranberry Bliss Silk for the two little apples. The picture doesn’t show the gold shimmer they have!

The cute little green bow and strip is some whip cream cardstock that I inked with my limeade splash ink and my lemon grass Ink.

The little sentiments on the apples are from the Tag Elements Stamp Set. I used my Whip Cream Ink pad to stamp them.  The cute little bow die cut is from the For You Die Set. I just added a cute little sequins from the Bloom Time Sequins pack to the center and some Natural Journey Twine. The main sentiment is from the lovely day stamp set. I used my black Licorice ink to stamp it.

Here is one last look at the completed card. I think it turned out super fun!  I hope this inspires you to create a card to send to someone letting them know just how awesome and special they are!
