I created this adorable Football Player Treat box! Perfect for sharing some treats with my Football “boys”

Here’s a side view of the box. I chose the sport gift box, football version available in the Pazzles craft room.

I cut it out of some sturdy green cardstock.   I then used the Football player file cut file and used half of him. I adhered him to the front of the box after I cut and pieced him together.  For the mats to the box,  I added some fun star paper from the Cosmic Whammy paper pad.  Of Couse I created the little football player with the orange and blue to represent my hubby’s team….Da Bears….lol!

Apples n Honey New Year Rosh Hashannah Card With Colored Pencil Blending Tip

Hello crafty friends,
I hope you are having a wonderful day. For those that celebrate the fall feasts of our Lord Yeshua, it is a wonderful time of celebration. Rosh Hashanah marks the new year. This year is special as it is a Shemittah year. This can best be described as a year of release. It is the seven year mark. Often Rosh Hashanah is symbolized with people giving and sharing apples and honey. This is to wish each other a good and sweet new year. L’Shanah Tovah!!!  So here is a card I made for the festivities that I never got around to posting.

Here’s a look at my finished card. The finished size is 5 x 6.5. I started with a white cardstock base. I then used a kraft mat and then the patterned papers are from the DCWV Handy Dandy and Timeless Textures Stacks

Here’s a picture showing the pre-printed digital image. I then took my CTMH colored pencils and added in some color for shading. I used my blending pen to gently blend the coloring in with the pre-printed part.

Here is a shot showing the blending of the apples. I proceeded to add more colors to the lid of the honey jar and the rest of the image.

This is a closer look at the finished picture. After adding all of the shading. I did this with plain 110lb cardstock. You just need to be careful that you don’t add too much solution with the blending pen or your paper will start to deteriorate and ball up.

Here’s a closer look at the daisies and foliage. I inked the edges of the petals and added some bronze stickles to the centers to give them a bit of dimension.

Supplies Used
White, Kraft, Green, Maize and Brown Cardstock
Creme Brulee Ink Pad
Brown Stickles
Blending Pen
DCWV Timeless Textures Stack
DCWV Handy Dandy Stack

This fits perfectly for our new PCW Design Team challenge....

Be sure to head over to the challenge post and get the details so you can enter your creation!!! Some great prizes to win! Here is what I created.
GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
The base is cut from some Bazzill brick cardstock. It is a really old cardstock that has little flecks of black in it. The finished size of the card is 4.25 x 5.5.
 GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
I cut out the flowers, stems and leaves as well as the fence. I layered the flowers and curled the petals.
GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
I used some pearl embellishments for the centers of my flowers and colored them with my Marigold marker.

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
I then printed out one of the sentiments from this week’s Friday Freebie and backed it with a small scalloped oval. I added just a bit of foam tape to give it a little lift.

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA
Here’s a side view to try and show the scalloped edge of the card base. I then cut the mat from white cardstock. I then turned to my cuttlebug and used my quatrefoil embossing folder to give it some texture.
