Pazzles Craft Room Scalloped Edge Card

Happy Friday crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a card I created for the Pazzles craft room recently. Here it is.

Here’s a look at my completed card. I started by using the Pazzles Craft Room exclusive cut file Scalloped Deco Edge Card set. I cut out the base in white cardstock.
For the blue and patterned gold foiled paper, I used the Craft Smith Indigo Gold paper pad



Here’s a view of the pretty flowers. I simply cut them and layered them and added just a soft curl to the petals. I used some foam tape to give them a little lift. For the centers, I used some gold gems from Close to my heart.



Here’s a closer look at the decorative edge. I used some pearl gems from Paper Studio to add some soft accents. I also used a little more foam tape  between the two layers and under the sentiment to give it all a little more dimension.


Here is one final look. To finish it off, I added a pretty satin ribbon bow. The card came together very quickly and easily.

Sharing A Smile and a Card

Happy Monday crafty friends,
Today I am sharing a smile and a card. I created this fun card with the new Cricut Artistry Cartridge and the Cricut Design Space software. I used some pretty Blossom paper and embellishments from Close To My Heart.


Here’s a look at my completed card. The card base is made from white cardstock and is a standard A4 size (4.25 x 5.5) I started by designing the card in the Cricut Design Space software. Once I had laid it all out, I decided on my papers and went to cutting.


Here’s a closer look at the pretty flowers. I used some more of the pretty blossom paper to cut the flowers from. I curled the petals and added some foam tape to give them a little lift. I added some fun Aqua dots to the centers.


Here’s a closer look at the Smile sentiment. I stamped it with my Lagoon ink pad. I added a couple more of the fun aqua dots and added some foam tape under the bottom white layer.

SOTM Birthday Butterfly Card

Happy Monday crafty friends,
I am sharing my latest card with you today. It is another card featuring the Stamp of the Month set from Close To My Heart. Here is what I came up with.

Here’s a look at the completed card. The finished size is 5  x 6.5. I started with a black cardstock base. I then used some white cardstock and some hot pink cardstock for mats. I then used some more black cardstock and white cardstock. For the smaller white cardstock base I sponged some of my Lagoon ink pad, gypsy ink pad and cotton candy ink pad. This gives the soft colored look to the mat.

Here’s a closer look at the pretty butterfly die cuts. I designed them with my Pazzles software and cut them in black cardstock. I used some of the pink glitter gems to accent the middle of each butterfly.

I used my lagoon ink pad  to stamp the outline of the label and my gypsy ink pad to stamp the sentiment. Both are from the August Stamp of the month. I then cut out a black cardstock mat to double mat the sentiment. I used some foam tape to give them it a little lift.

I finished off the look by adding a touch of purple shimmer trim and some teal shimmer trim.

CTMH Happy Birthday August Stamp of the Month Cricut Design Space Card

Happy Wednesday crafty friends,

Today I am sharing another fun card featuring the August, Stamp of the Month stamp set. Here is what I came up with.

Here is the completed card. I started by creating the card base in the Cricut Design Space software. I used cut files from the new Cricut Artistry cartridge. I created the card base and used a cut from design space to create the overlays.

Here’s a closer look at the pretty flowers and leaves. I used cuts again from the Cricut Artistry and cut the flowers and leaves out of white cardstock.

Once I cut the flowers out, I used my Glacier ink pad and my buttons, bits and bobs stamp set.

I then used my Flaxen ink pad and another stamp from the same button, bits and bobs stamp to stamp onto the leaves.

Lastly, for my inking, I used my whisper ink pad  and sponged the solid butterfly. A soft yet subtle color.

 

I then curled the petals to the flower and grouped them onto the frame I chose. I added some pearls to the centers of the flowers and then curled the butterfly  wings.

Here is what the card looks like slightly opened. I love the soft, pretty colors against the kraft cardstock base.
