Elegant Rose Corner Card

Hello crafty friends,
Hello crafty peeps. Today I am sharing a card I created for my Pazzles design team. Our task was to create a “one of a kind” card.

I started by heading over to the Pazzles Craft Room and picked the Twisted Easel Label card file. I cut the base and the label with kraft cardstock. I then used printed paper from the Paper Studio paper pack. I then created the frame edges that I used and cut them in white cardstock and made them in two sizes. I then used more of the patterned paper for mats. I also used some foam tape to give the mats some lift from the base.

I then used some of the twirled flowers and cut them out in plain white cardstock. I then inked them with my Cranberry mini and Ruby mini ink pads to give them some color. I then used my glue gun to glue them after I twirled them into shape. I then dipped them in a little wet adhesive and then sprinkled some glitter on them. I then created the leafy vines. I cut those out in white cardstock. I then used my Topiary (Green-Adventure Set) and brown (Chocolate Basics mini set) ink pads to give them some color.

I then turned to my little label and then did a print n’ cut after I typeset the scripture sentiment. I then cut it out and the bottom layer. I then added some ribbon and a bow.

Lastly I cut out a few butterflies and then I applied some glue and some fine glitter to them. I would definitely say this is a one of a kind and a labor of love.

Here is one last look at my finished card. Truly a one of a kind, I enjoyed making.

Day 3 Counting The Omer

Another beautiful passage to reflect upon. I promise tomorrow I will share something crafty too!!!! I have been working, but it has been slow going for some reason. Well, in the meantime, here is another fun set of printables-Print and Cut files I am working on.

Day 2 Counting of the Omer

Happy Monday friends!!!!

Hope your week is starting off to a good one...Take a moment to read the scripture for Day 2 of the ‪#‎countingoftheOmer‬ as we count UP TO ‪#‎Shavuot‬! Psalms 119:11 is special. It is the first scripture I taught the little girls I used to teach in "Sunday School" I think of these little cupcakes often as they are all young ladies now...My how time flies..... None the less...We must DAILY Hide HIS WORD....(not man's version of His word) in our hearts. What a great way to check ourselves....Delight yourselves in Him...Have a wonderfully blessed day friends!!!!

DAY 1 Counting The Omer. Happy Passover/Resurrection

DAY 1

Happy Passover/Resurrection Sunday to all my friends! May The Holy One of Israel continue to bring you hope, peace, strength and grace. May the finished work of the cross be your guide in every breath and every day that He has appointed for you! May the progressive revelation of your walk with HIM bring you greater understanding as you seek to know Him. Also, don't forget today is DAY 1 of the #Countingoftheomer! Let us rejoice as we count UP TO Shavuot! The blessing of Pentecost.

Brown Bunny Hybrid Easter Cards

Hello crafty friends,
Today I wanted to share this super fun and super fast Hybrid, printable card that I made. I have been learning more about digital scrapbooking and Photoshop in general. As a result I have been kicking around some different things. One of the things is making “hybrid” crafts. For those that may not know, Hybrid crafts are crafts that are part digital and part “traditional”. They incorporate the use of both digital and “tangible” products. So here is a little card I came up with.

Here are my two finished cards. One has the pink polka dot mat and the other the green polka dot mat. Their finished size is 4.25 5.5

Set comes with a pre-formatted pdf file as well as individual jpg files as shown.

Here is a closer look at one of them. The base is cut from kraft cardstock. Then I cut a white mat and then cut out the pre-printed mats and the other strips.

Here is what the pre-printed template looks like. It is in pdf format and fits on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper.

Here are the pieces after they have been printed and cut out.

I matted them with some white cardstock. To assembly them, I adhered the top mat with the bunny onto the bottom mat. I did use some foam tape to give them a little lift. Next I adhered the blue plaid strip and then wrapped some white ribbon to it. Once I did all that, I simply glued the finished piece onto the base of my kraft cardstock. Finally, I used my gypsy ink pad and my for you stamp from the My Fave stamp set. I then cut it out with a circle punch I had on hand. I used a little more foam tape to give it a little more lift and that was it…Easy Peasy!!!
