Stamp of the Month Card #2

Happy Monday crafty friends,
Hope the last week of 2014 is starting off to be a good one for you. How time is flying by!!! As we wrap up 2014, don’t forget about the FANTASTIC deals that CTMH is having. I wanted to showcase another card I created with the December Stamp of the Month.  You only have a couple of days to get it and then it is gone for good! Here is what I came up with.

Here is a look at my completed card. It is the A2 size: 4.25 x 5.5. I created the card base to fit perfectly with the stamp set of the cupcake cut out border. I also created svg cuts for the cupcakes so I could stamp and color them separately.

Here is a view of the card slightly opened to shop you how the base of the card is made with the cupcakes outlined.

I also created cut files of the cute little cupcake stand. Here you can see that I used some of the Shin Han Touch Twin Markers to color in the base and the cupcake on the stand. The sentiment is also part of the stamp set. I used my black ink pad to stamp the sentiment and all of the cupcakes.

Here is a closer look at two of the cupcakes I colored. I used the various red and pink markers for the cupcake wrappers and then used some of the various brown and beige markers for the frostings.

Here is a closer look at the bottom cupcake and the cute little bow. Again, I used the Shin Han markers for coloring. The gray polka dot paper is from the dotty for you paper pack that is now retired.

Here is one last look at the finished card. I love coloring. It is so calming Smile.
