Redeemed...Free Digi.....

Good morning crafty friends,

Today is a personal post with a touch of craftiness. I want to take a moment in the hustle and bustle of life to take a moment to reflect on.....life.

I have SEVERAL online friends who have recently shared some very private and personal things with me. The one thing that is in common, they are all going through some very, very difficult circumstances. I mean everything....Cancer, other illnesses, uncertainty of what illness, depression, divorce, separation from family, sadness, intense loneliness, family heartbreak, loss of loved ones and those are just the ones that have shared with me, and just this week alone. I can't tell you how my heart just breaks for each individual. I am so grateful that they reached out to me. Not because of me, but because of my beloved Heavenly Father....The Mighty One. He is everything they need and all that I need too. So as I was reflecting and praying for my friends, I thought of this song.

So I decided to post it. Please, please take a moment to listen to it. The first video is a commentary by the song writer-singer on HOW and WHY for the song. Let it minister to your heart. Even if you aren't going through something yourself at the moment, you either have or know someone who is. It is amazing to me how the Lord can take something like crafting as a common bond and use it to lift each other.

Now here is the song.....

Here are the lyrics
"Redeemed"

Seems like all I could see was the struggle

Haunted by ghosts that lived in my past

Bound up in shackles of all my failures
Wondering how long is this gonna last
Then You look at this prisoner and say to me "son
Stop fighting a fight it's already been won"

I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, now I'm not who I used to be
I am redeemed, I'm redeemed

All my life I have been called unworthy
Named by the voice of my shame and regret
But when I hear You whisper, "Child lift up your head"
I remember, oh God, You're not done with me yet

I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, now I'm not who I used to be

Because I don't have to be the old man inside of me
'Cause his day is long dead and gone
Because I've got a new name, a new life, I'm not the same
And a hope that will carry me home

I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, 'cause I'm not who I used to be

I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, yeah, I'm not who I used to be
Oh, God, I'm not who I used to be
Jesus, I'm not who I used to be
'Cause I am redeemed
Thank God, redeemed

So sorry, my project isn't quite finished. It will be ready for a project this week. I still wanted to share the free digital printable I created that is a part of the upcoming project.

Free Digi Paper
I created this digi paper. It is in an 8.5 x 11 ready to print format.
It looks much better than this picture shows. It is a distressed background with the lyrics to this song, music sheet and the title Redeemed throughout.

Please note: The price will say $1.00, but when you check out there will be no cost during this free period offer.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a wonderful cartridge showcase.

  1. My heart goes out to all these people that are struggling. This is my favorite song, I believe every word of it. Going back to church and believing has changed my life and I am forever grateful. We all struggle and suffer but knowing that God is with us all the time no matter what brings a sense of peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to them. Carri~Abusybee
