CWC #121: Card Outreach

It's another Wonderful Wednesday here at MyPaperCrafting.com!  We are so happy you've joined us for our weekly "Crafts With Cutters" Challenge.  This week our Design Team is creating uplifting cards for Madison's "I Feel the Love" Project.  Each month a different recipient is chosen to receive little handmade gifts of love.  Since IFTL started in June 2011 over 1,300 cards have been received from amazing crafters all over the world.

Here is what Madison had to say about this month's recipient:  Alana is a 21 year old student who experienced a devastating loss as the result of Hurricane Sandy when it came to shore in October of 2012.  She and her family lost their home and most of their belongings.  When Alana was able to go into the area for the first time and see that her family home had been knocked down she said, "I was in shock of what I saw. It is something I will never forget as long as I live."  I can't imagine losing everything all at once. That would be very difficult. We can support Alana and her family. Words of comfort can go a long way.

Check out all the details about Madison's "I Feel the Love" Project and how you can participate on her website.

I hope you'll join us in welcoming our newest Design Team member . . . SHEENA!  Sheena's blog is called Dew Drops and Glue Dots and I am certain that she is going to be a great addition to our Team.  She has had her Cricut Expression for 5 years now and, like the rest of us, she loves it.  She also loves making cards and is a big fan of faux stitching and clouds.  Sheena loves the outdoors and flowers of all kinds.  She's also a big Disney World fan!  This is her first Design Team experience.

Now it's your turn!  Link up your uplifting/encouraging card for a chance at being this week's "Top Crafty Cutter."  Here are some guidelines:

  --> Must follow the challenge topic.
  --> Must be a NEW project for this challenge; no backdated posts, please.
  --> Must have a link back to this post on your blog.
  --> Must link your project through Inlinkz and not just your blog.
  --> Must use your Cricut in some capacity.
  --> Must have FUN!
  --> You may gladly combine challenges . . . we love to pile it on, too!

And here is something NEW!!  Starting this week our challenge link up will be open for TWO WEEKS!  We hope this will give more of you talented Cricut crafters time to play along with us.

Thanks so much for joining us for our weekly challenge.  Don't forget to click on the Designer's name to travel to their blog for more details on their fantastic projects and to leave an encouraging word or two.  We hope you'll join us Friday for our weekly Digi Desserts Fridaze!
