Cartridge Showcase: Yee-Haw

Good morning crafty friends,

Today is my turn to do a cartridge showcase. I had originally intended to do Damask Décor and share some projects I made for my brother’s wedding. But I am still trying to pull together pictures for all that. So I had to go with a plan “B”. I wanted to do a couple of boy layouts as those seem to be less ideas out there for them.

So here are my projects.

YEE HAW Two Page Layout
All the die cuts are from the Yee Haw Cartridge. I just used pieces from the different elements available on the cartridge to “piece” the bear together.

RECIPE
I used the following material:
Grey, Blue, Black, Yellow, Lt. Grey, Red, Brown, Dark Brown Bazzill Cardstock
Black, Brown, White Signo and Silver Pens for faux stitching and facial accents.
Mocha Mama, Midnight Confessions, Amaretto and Bloody Mary Chalk Inks
Dry Decorator Chalks.
I used some thick hemp for to wrap the photo mats.
I cut the following:
Cowboy and Cowboy Horse @ 6”
Rope at 5”
Rifle at 1”
Horse at 4 1/2”
Horse Shoes at 1 1/2”
Yee Haw Title at 4”
Shirt at 12”
Bear all at various oval shapes from Cartridge
Hat at 3”
Steer Skull at 1 3/4”

100% Country One Page Layout

100 country sign
cowboy singing
RECIPE
I used the following materials
Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Brown and Cream Bazzill Cardstock
DCWV Boy Patterned Paper Stack
Dry Decorator Chalks for the Cowboy Cheeks.
Black Fine Tip Pen for faux stitching.
I cut the following:
Frame at 7”
Starts at 2 1/2”
Cowboy at 7”
100% Country Sign at 4”
I used pop dots to lift the cowboy and 100% Country sign so I can slide a picture underneath. I did also trim the bottom of the Country sign just a bit so it wouldn’t hang over the photo matte too much.

Howdy Card
yeehaw card-500
Finished Card Size 5.5 x 5.5
I used the following materials
Red, Black, Yellow, Brown, Dark Brown, Tan, Grey, Green and Cream Bazzill Cardstock
Patterned paper is from the DCWV Boy Paper Stack
I cut the following:
Howdy sign at 1 1/2”
Boot at 3”
Horse at 1 3/4”
Cowboy Hat at 4”
Cactus and Fence at 3”
Bear at various Oval pieces
Sign at 5” using the layer and shift layer pieces only.
