Cartridge Showcase: Disney Dreams Come True

Welcome to Cooking With Cricut's Monday Cartridge Showcase!  We hope you all had a wonderful, crafty weekend!  Chef Jenny J. (aka Crazyaboutcricut) has taken over the blog today and is sharing one of  her favorite cartridges -- an oldie. but goodie -- Disney's Dreams Come True.

The cartridge features Disney Princesses Ariel, Belle, Jasmine and Pocahontas and  includes: Flesh/Hair, Outfit/Outfit, White/Extra, Icon, Base/Icon, and Charm creative features.

So without further ado . . . here's Jenny!

Hi Everybody!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the Disney cartridges.  Even though they can be challenging, they are SO worth it!

My daughter recently had an Ariel-themed birthday party.  Whenever my kids want a theme that I can cut with my Cricut, I'm so happy!  It saves money, and shopping time :O)  For my first project, I want to share the perfect banner I was able to make for her using the Dreams Come True Disney Princess cartridge:

For my second project I made this card using this elephant that is only two layers!  One of my favorite things about this (and all Disney carts) is the Icon feature. These are still in a Disney style, but are A LOT easier to put together.

My last project is another card again using the Icon feature.  A simple two layer cut, some doodling, a sentiment and you have a card you can make in minutes!

Super cute projects, Jenny!  Looks like your daughter had a wonderful birthday!!  Please check out the details on Jenny's blog and make sure to leave her a comment letting her know how much you liked her showcase.

Check back in tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28th for a PaperCraftingWorld.com Design Team challenge and Wednesday, February 29th for a CookingWithCricut.com Design Team challenge.  These will be the last challenges with the current teams -- so make sure you stop by and give 'em some love and a shout out!  (Our new Design Teams will be introduced the following week.)

  4. Wow, love the little mermaid banner! The icon feature must be nice! My Toy Story one doesn't have that and those characters are so detailed they can be a pain to cut/assemble!
